About this product

Nook is a grown-up boot in children's sizes, for 9 to 14-year-olds who walk longer days or have started on expeditions. The upper is 2mm full-grain leather with a Weatherline waterproof lining, on a Tor Grip sole with 5mm lugs and a firmer midsole for rocky paths.

Leather needs breaking in, so plan a few short walks before a big trip. With a coat of wax now and then, a pair will outlast a growing foot and still be good for a younger brother or sister.

Brush off mud and let them dry slowly at room temperature, then rub in a leather wax.

Proper boots
My 13-year-old wore these up Lochnagar on a wet September day. Stiff for the first two walks, comfortable since, and dry inside.
