About this product

The Ghyll is our best-selling children's boot. A Weatherline waterproof lining keeps feet dry through wet grass and shallow streams, and the Tor Grip rubber sole has 4mm lugs that bite on muddy paths.

A rubber toe bumper takes the knocks from kicked rocks, and the lacing runs up to a hook at the top so the boot holds the ankle. A pair weighs 760g in size 1. Club members can bring them in for free repairs.

    Dry feet in Eryri

Walked through wet bracken all morning above Capel Curig and her socks were dry at lunch. The sole grips well on wet rock.

    Run slightly small

Good boots, but they come up a touch small. We went up a size on the shop's advice and they fit with a thick sock.

    Third pair

On our third pair as his feet grow, and the first two were handed down still waterproof. He did Hambledon Hill and Golden Cap in these this summer.
