About this product
Haar trousers are Cairnhope's winter mountain trousers, in a 320g/m² Ridgeflex stretch weave with a brushed back. They block most of the wind and shed snow, and they stretch for high steps on steep ground, so overtrousers can stay in the pack until it rains.
There are 80-denier crampon patches inside the ankles, an adjustable hem with a lace hook, loops for braces and two zipped thigh pockets. They come in short, regular and long legs and weigh 580g with a 32 waist.

Best winter trousers I've had
Wore them all last winter on the Ben and in Glen Coe. Warm, and they don't soak through in snow. The crampon patches have saved them more than once.

Warm, maybe too warm
Superb in proper winter conditions on Helvellyn. On milder days I overheat in them. The waist runs a little big.
