About this product
Wayfell's Stake sandal has nubuck leather straps that adjust at three points, over a cork and latex footbed that moulds to your foot within a couple of weeks. It's for dry summer paths and holiday walking when boots feel too hot.
The Holdfast sole has 3mm lugs, enough for dry paths and gravel tracks. The leather straps don't like a soaking, so for wading rivers look at the Scree Line Tuff.

Materials
Nubuck leather straps with a padded lining. Cork and latex footbed with a suede top. EVA midsole, rubber outsole.
Care
Wipe the straps with a damp cloth and let them dry naturally. Keep them out of rivers and the sea, which stiffen the leather.

Comfortable after a week
The footbed felt hard at first, but after a week of walks along the coast it has moulded to my feet. The buckles are fiddly first thing in the morning.
