About this product

Leather boots often have a bit of spare room in women's sizes, and a thick sock takes it up. The women's Twill is 70% merino, cushioned under the whole foot and padded at the shin where a stiff cuff presses.

Heddle knits it with a smaller heel and a narrower leg than the men's, so it doesn't bunch. It's warm enough for Scottish winter days and too warm for most of the summer.

Cosy
Very warm for winter walks round Loch Morlich and up to Coire an t-Sneachda. They take a long time to dry if you wash them in a hostel.
