About this product

Summer days in the Dales often start cool and end hot, so the legs of these Wath convertibles zip off above the knee to make shorts. Each leg has a different coloured zip puller, Gorse on the left and Tarn on the right, so children can match them without help.

They use the same recycled polyamide stretch fabric as the Wath walking trousers, with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. Short zips at the ankle let the lower legs come off over boots.

Zips are fiddly
Good idea, and the coloured pullers help. The leg zips are hard for my seven-year-old to start, so it's me on my knees on the path doing it. The fabric is good.
