About this product

The Ings hat has a short brim at the front and a long flap at the back, covering the neck and ears, which are the places children burn first on a long walk. The recycled polyester is rated UPF 50+ and dries fast after a dunk in a stream to cool down.

A toggle on the chin strap pulls apart if it catches on a branch. An adjuster at the back fits heads from about 50 to 54cm, roughly ages 4 to 10.

Stays on in the wind
Stayed on along the cliffs at Stackpole in a stiff breeze, thanks to the strap. It's a bit big on my four-year-old even on the tightest setting.
