About this product

A gimmer is a young ewe, and this hat is wool too: 70% recycled wool with recycled nylon for strength. The turn-up is folded double and gives your ears two layers of knit.

A band of soft microfleece lines the ears to stop the itch on a long day on the tops. It fits most adult heads and stays on in a strong wind on Dartmoor. We have sold more of these than any other hat for three winters running.
