The matching briefs for women are 150g/m² merino with a little elastane, so they sit flat, keep their shape through a long day and dry overnight after a rinse.

Wool copes with sweat better than cotton and holds off smells, and on a week-long walk you can manage with two pairs. The waistband is soft and flat under a hip belt, and the leg openings are bound without elastic so nothing digs in.
